Beware the Cherokee Little People

When three members of a family descended from Kentucky’s legendary Blue People are taken, Simon Wilson and his friends refuse to leave them behind. What begins as a desperate search for three missing people soon carries the group across North and South Dakota, where rugged landscapes, hidden caves, and old traditions conceal dangers they never expected to face.

Their search leads them into the vast wilderness of Theodore Roosevelt National Park and eventually toward South Dakota, where the roar of motorcycles fills the Black Hills during one of the region’s largest bike rallies. A violent motorcycle gang stands between Simon’s team and the friends they are determined to rescue, turning an already dangerous pursuit into a fight where the stakes grow higher with every mile.

But human enemies are only part of what waits for them.

As the search moves deeper into the Dakotas, Simon and his companions encounter stories and traditions connected to both Cherokee and Lakota lore. The similarities are difficult to dismiss, and the deeper they travel into the caves and isolated country, the harder it becomes to separate legend from reality. Some stories, they discover, have survived for generations for a reason.

Old friendships are tested. New alliances are formed. Courage comes from unexpected places, and survival sometimes depends on trusting what cannot easily be explained. From the badlands of North Dakota to the motorcycle-filled roads and hidden caves of South Dakota, the rescue becomes something far larger than anyone imagined.

Beware the Little People blends action, mystery, friendship, Native American lore, and the unexplained into an adventure where the people Simon came to save may not be the only ones who need rescuing—and where some legends are better treated with respect.
